interior of the week // kyle dewoody

Another amazing home featured on Vogue… here is the home of Kyle DeWoody, the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Grey Area (you must check out her shop here… very cool!!). So yeah, she is 27. You wanna imagine having a shop and house (in NYC) like this at 27? I gotta get to work…

I love the living room with the pink area rug. Which is your favourite room?

interior of the week // suchi reddy

I love how designer Suchi Reddy fixed up her teeny NYC apartment from a dentist office into this adorable studio. Reddy was able to fit everything she needed into 375 square feet of space! That’s pretty incredible… and it looks fantastic.

Could you live in 275 square feet?

renovation // the maahsterfall’s (aka the hat)

You might have read my post a while back when I was trying to help draw some inspiration for my sister’s kitchen renovation… Well, it’s finally finished and the outcome is perfection!!

Here are a few before pictures…

I’m not sure you can tell from the pictures, but the space was a little awkward to work with (long and narrow room with the largest wall occupied with floor to ceiling windows) but with the help of Irene Langlois, they figured out a perfect plan that not only looks great, but is also very functional and great for having guests. Here are the after pictures…

Love this shot – fisheye lens captures the kitchen, powder room and dining room…

Yes please…

celebrity style // courteney cox

Okay this celebrity style post is for my sister and brother-in-law. Dudes, check out the 7th picture down… this would look sick at Sick Bar Social Club!! For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, my sister and her husband are thinking about cutting out a window at the backyard entrance to their garage to create an outdoor bar. They are often hosts to weekend get-togethers, so there are loads of us looking forward to the grand opening of Sick Bar!

Here is Malibu home of Courteney Cox. I love her style and I LOVE her outdoor space!!

interior of the week // cris and marcelo rosenbaum

I just came across this UH-MAZING website, The Selby… why have I never seen this before? Photographer Todd Selby travels the world taking photos of interesting people, homes and businesses. Add it to your reader!

This is the home of Cris and Marcelo Rosenbaum in Sao Paulo… very cool!

Many more pics of the Rosenbaum home here.

Anyone else want to add a little more colour to their home?

celebrity style // diane von furstenberg

Okay, I had to share a second interior of the week… starting a new series ‘celebrity fix’. Seriously, fashion icon Diane von Furstenberg‘s glass ‘tree house’ in the middle of Manhattan? Not sure if it gets better. I love that almost every room is so whimsical and full of life… and just plain cool. Her office/living space is like a mini style museum. I’d love to have the chance to snoop around that room… and check out all her personal photos. Oh boy, and imagine waking up in that bed? In that room?? And of course, that view!! Enjoy and prepare to be jealous…

interior of the week // nicole hanley mellon

Love the acrylic accents, wild carpet, and eclectic art in Nicole Hanley Mellon’s home featured on Vogue. And that kids’ room is super cute!! Open spaces can really make a difference… gives you the opportunity to have a lot of ‘stuff’ without looking cluttered. It also does hurt that Mellon has such nice ‘stuff’!!

You loving it too?

designer // kelly wearstler

If I could pick any designer in the world to sit down with, it would be Kelly Wearstler. I love her attention to detail and choice of bold patterns and futuristically modern furniture & accessories. Plus she seems like a super cool lady – she was named one of the best dressed of the year by Vogue, is a fashion and home goods designer, and listens to the Rolling Stones!! My kinda gal!!

If you could sit down with any designer, who would you pick?
